Kevin is a Christian author of non-fiction and fiction books, the music reviewer and movie critic for the Christian entertainment site RockinGodsHouse.com, a contributor to Vital Magazine, and he is represented by Hartline Literary agency. He also has a passion for overseas missions, especially in Ghana, Africa, and he has been a worship leader and public speaker in ministry for over 17 years with a special expertise on the life and works of C.S. Lewis and the music of U2.
In the nostalgic 1980s when the Internet didn't exist, when cell phones were the size of WWII walkie-talkies, and when Ronald Reagan was president, Kevin was born into a humble pastor's family in a small mountain town in Montana where A River Runs Through It was filmed. After his family relocated to California, he grew up in the Central Valley, moved to the coast to attend college and obtained a B.A. in Music Composition at UC Santa Barbara where he also studied literature and film scoring.
Kevin lives on the Central Coast with his family where, when he's not working on writing projects, he leads worship at his church, writes and records music, lectures on a variety of Biblical and literary topics, teaches Bible studies, and works with his church on the David's Tabernacle Project.
