About the Author

Angela B. Logan is a self-proclaimed Author / Executive / Producer / Personality / Blogger / Advocate / Wife / Mom. She is a leading social media influencer and the founder of Live and Learn.com. She is the President of Live & Learn Media/Nia Enterprises. Angela also adds “survivor” to her list of titles. She has been there and survived that from near death, losing 100 pounds and Motherhood not necessarily in that order. She believes that you should live, learn and pass it on an axiom that she uses to inspire and empower her tens of thousands social media followers.

Angela created Live & Learn as a place for women to find the information, answers, tips, inspiration, entertainment and community that they were seeking online in areas important to them such as parenting, wellness, travel, food, fashion and beauty and entertainment.

As a sought after blogger and entertainment personality, Angela has appeared on national talk shows like “The View” and has been featured in internet and print publications such as the Huffington Post, Essence Magazine, NY Daily News, Today’s Black Woman and Precious Times Magazine. As a spokesperson, social media influencer, brand ambassador and advocate Angela has been featured in campaigns with Got Milk?, Macy’s and the Susan G. Komen Foundation to name a few.

Angela has a love for Moms which was born from her work as a marketing executive and expert targeting them while working with companies such as Kraft Foods, Wal-Mart, Kelloggs, Pepsico Campbells, ConAgra Foods, Coca-Cola and many others. But her passion for parenting came after her own harrowing experience bringing her daughter Samia in the world. Angela miraculously survived a pregnancy related “near-miss” after suffering from the pregnancy related disease Preeclampsia. Angela’s ordeal where she overcame a 20% chance to live and heart, lung and kidney failure became her call to action to advocate for women everywhere. She lived and learned that a woman must become her own biggest advocate. Angela speaks about maternal and heart health along with topics affecting parents internationally and has done so with Amnesty International, The Ray of Hope Summit and more. Angela often shares how she shed 100 pounds brought on by her illness and often ponders on whether that was harder to overcome than heart failure!

Angela helmed the star studded feature film about her life story called “Breathe” as Co-Executive Producer which was selected into the American Black Film Festival, Martha’s Vineyard African-American Film Festival and Pan African Film Festival.
